8/4/2023 0 Comments Gnomoria sackFix - Restarting the game may or may not fix such items. Future Fix - It's code-based/memory-based so I don't know how to fix it.Ģ) Item Bug - When multiple items are being stockpiled, it's possible to have one of them become bugged inasmuch as they still appear on the ground, can be assigned to be stocked, but no gnome can actually interact with them and no orders the player gives can do anything with them. Prevention - It sometimes works to create separate stockpiles for wheelbarrows and separate ones for sacks and then setting these as Priority 1, in hopes the wheelbarrow/sack will be picked up during the process and restocked/reset back to its former state. Fix - Delete the task, fully, then fully exit the game and restart it. It lasts until the gnome is exhausted, is starving or is scheduled for military training. When a gnome is gathering multiple items, usually for stockpiling, the container will somehow lose some necessary attribute and become bugged, forcing the gnome using it and the task that was assigned to become bugged. This can be anything from disliked features, missing content, optimization issues, to bugs and glitches.ġ) The Container Bug - It happens with wheelbarrows and sacks. Since game does not multi-thread, every Gnome/Monster/Critter adds pathing every tick, and the Beetles quickly begin to outnumber everything else combined.Ursprungligen skrivet av Luam_the_elf.Here I am asking what is Your biggest problem in this game. I would alslo reccomend new players turning OFF Beetles when beginning a new game until they learn combat mechanics/techniques and building/mining safe-practices as Beetles can definitely lag a game to a virtual standstill on all but the mightiest of super-processors since they actually multiply in-game (100s eventually) if not immediately taken care of. but having an extra copy of a savegame its just nice, and brings peace of mind. I have 13 Kingdoms in my save list, but I've only ever had 1 gamebreaking bug in one. Most everything is actually fixable/preventable if you already know how, but sometimes it's just easier/quicker to load the backup. I get in the habit of copying my save-file once every in-game year or so (the default location is a game directory in the Documents folder, not the Programs folder). Keeping an occasional savegame backed up in a sepearate folder can usually insure a workaround for most everything until you get used to 'working around' some of the issues. It's still a good game to play, despite a few unresolved bugs. (Dev had a kid on the way, had stuffs to do, things to go, places to be.whatever.) (GIGO) But, it is a shame that the game wasn't cleaned up at the very end. If you get a bug, it can usually be fixed and a lot of things that look like bugs aren't, since the gnomes really do try to follow your orders. It's a great game and can be lots of fun. Make your stockpiles intelligently and if you need to move them, make another stockpile with a higher priority and let the gnomes move the majority of the stuff, first. There is one that occurs when there are too many objects on the ground and you try to move/change stockpiles and everyone gets ordered to run out and move everything. and can usually be cleared up just by deleting the task both in the location it was to be performed and in the gnome's task list that was assigned to perform it. They're usually related to a bugged task, wheelbarrow, etc. There are a few other annoying bugs that "seem" permanent, but they're not. If you use good practices like putting stockpiles in logical places and making good paths for your gnomes as they go through the levels, it doesn't have to be inevitable that it'll happen. (IIRC, it's a memory leak sort of causing thing that ends up running in the game and corrupting it and staying in the saved game.) If you get that, the only solution is a previous saved game without the bug in it. It's a task or pathing bug that will crawl through all your gnome's tasks and escalate until just about every gnome is sitting in the dining hall, refusing to do anything else. There's a few bugs that seem undefeatable, but from what I remember, there is only one that can't be fixed.
